Product Description

This is a medium handmade wooden stirring spoon made from salvaged Apple wood that I got from a tree service.

Size: 11 1/2 inches by 2 1/4 inches. Style: Shaker style, with a medium-deep, hybrid spatula spoon for light mixing and scraping out mixing bowls. Wood: salvaged Apple wood. Uses: stirring and light mixing. Finish: Treated with beeswax and mineral oil. Care: Comes with detailed care and maintenance instructions. Will last for many years.

This spoon is finished and ready to ship, and you will receive the one shown.

Apple wood is such a fine wood for utensils that last. It is hard, dense, smooth-grained, and resistant to cracking. They used to make wooden gears out of it, that’s how tough it is.
